Cooper's Falls Trail

At approximately 8 km in length, this challenging portion of the Trans Canada Trail makes up almost one third of the enitre Trans Canada Trail route through Gravenhurst. Designed for nature lovers, the Cooper's Falls Trail traverses through the rugged rock.

Although sections of the trail route are bordered by hundreds of acres of Crown Land, it is still very important to remain on the trail route for safety, to protect the natural environment and to avoid private property.

The southern trail entrance for this one-way trail is located on Cooper's Falls Road along the Black River. The northern entrance is located off District Road 6 near the Summerland Store in Housey's Rapids. Parking is available all year at the northern trail head.
