Stepping Stones Scholarship Variety Show
The Stepping Stones Scholarship Variety Show will be held at the Algonquin Theatre, 37 Main St. E., Huntsville. At last year's graduation, several local companies had to remove their scholarships because they couldn't afford to honour them. The Stepping Stones Scholarships are given to graduating Huntsville High School students who may or may not qualify for any other scholarship but are still very deserving. These are students who have great marks and are hard working individuals. A committee selects 9 students to receive this cash award. Three students are university bound, three are college bound and three are apprenticeship or workplace bound. We would like to increase the total number of these scholarships in an attempt to make up for the lost community scholarships.
