Doitinmuskoka has been around for 8 years now and has already gone through some major changes. But for all the time we've put in making the site easy to navigate and full of information thats usefull, there were still some big holes we needed to fill!

Well a lot of effort went into getting us here but we're finally ready... Welcome to the new Doitinmuskoka.com!

• The most obvious change is that the site has a new look, we've tried to clean up as much of the clutter as we could and we'll continue to tweak as we go, but we think we've made the site a lot simpler and freed up a lot of space to move the important content into.
• Our menus are larger and interactive with descriptions of some of the different selections, this helps bring every page on the site closer to every other page making moving around the site a breeze.
• Our weather has gone from a 5 day forecast to a 7 day forecast and you'll start to find that the weather area isn't the only place you'll get forecasts.  Events taking place in the next week will include the days weather with each date, and the next week on the events calendar itself shows daily forecasts as well.
• Lists are visibly cleaner but include more information than ever.
• Events Calendar and Category pages now include large compiled maps, use the list or the map to choose a listing or event!
• Our events calendar will never go empty again, we now have partnerships in place with several venues and organizations to share their events through our new Doit Events Network, and the list will continue to grow as we add more partners.
• We've made it really simple to submit your own events to our Events network as well, just look for the link in the top menu, or in the links in the footer.  One form, and a quick approval by a moderator and your event gets tons of exposure.

This is just a quick list of some of the new and exciting things we've already launched, but wait, the shows not over yet!

Our next set of launch items includes:

• Self management of your business listings with marketing wizards to help you promote,
• A Wiki approach to our unmanaged listings allowing you to help keep the site accurate,
• Build your own custom maps and or vacation plans using our new "Do it yourself" tools.
• And a number of others so hot we have to keep them secret! ;)
